Alana Gomez-Wagner

Greetings! My name is Alana, and I am in my final semester in the part-time, online Insurance Management program. I have been in the insurance industry 15+ years in a variety of roles and functional areas. My passion lies in bringing out the best in people, along with making connections amongst colleagues and resources.

As the Insurance Management Program Representative, I aim to be a vital link between the School of Professional Studies (SPS) and our active cohorts. My role centers on ensuring our program’s perspectives are shared with SPS leadership, and being a resource to my peers by helping to navigate requirements and sharing important information.

I am committed to identifying overlapping interests and collaboration opportunities between our programs. My goal is to encourage interdisciplinary exploration, which will enrich our learning experiences and enable application of what we have learned well beyond graduation.
