Columbia Fellow 2021 | Fellow, M.S. in Sports Management | Howard University

Nira Headen is a 2021 HBCU Fellow at Columbia University. Passionate about sports and racial equity, Nira plans to use her masters degree from SPS Sports Management to advance HBCU athletics. In addition to her school work, Nira interns for Edyoucore Sports and Entertainment as a social media contributor. Her main responsibilities are developing and executing social media strategies for the firm. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in African American Studies and a Bachelors of Science in Sports Management from Howard University.
