Alix Swann

Columbia Fellow 2021 | M.S. in Nonprofit Management - Spelman College

Alix Swann is a 2021 HBCU Fellow at Columbia University. Passionate about youth development and education, Alix plans to use her Master’s Degree from the SPS Nonprofit Management program to further improve access to informal education for youth. In addition to her academics, Alix is the Police-Free Schools Campaign Lead with Young People for Progress. Her main responsibilities include overseeing police-free schools advocacy efforts in Montgomery County, Maryland. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Spelman College.
