ADP's Corina Fisher Discusses Approaches to Talent Activation

Our Integrated Talent Management Strategies class was delighted to host Corina FisherSenior Director, Global Talent Solutions for ADP.

ADP, historically known for payroll services, continues to innovate the industry forward as a leading global technology company providing human capital management (HCM) solutions that build a better world of work. With the acquisition of The Marcus Buckingham Company (TMBC), ADP began a journey to transform their culture which included a redesign of performance and talent management. The goal of the redesign was to create a simplified, more reliable, action-oriented and integrated approach that focused on the power of the manager, met the organization’s needs and embraced ADP’s new strengths-based approach.

Research shows that frequent 1:1 Check-Ins with a manager are a powerful driver of employee engagement and performance. Check-Ins focus on how to leverage strengths to get work done, and in turn employee strengths drive individual and overall company performance. Corina described a thoughtful approach to talent activation that leverages these collective strengths.

Corina explained bold shifts ADP has made to leverage data and empower leaders. Fittingly, when asked to share career advice, Corina’s response? “Be Bold!”

Corina, thank you for sharing a real-world example of performance and change!
