Francesca Lazzeri

Faculty Associate; Senior Director of Data Science and AI, Microsoft

Francesca Lazzeri, Ph.D. is an experienced scientist and machine learning practitioner with over 12 years of both academic and industry experience. She is author of the book “Machine Learning for Time Series Forecasting with Python” (2020, Wiley) and many other publications, including technology journals and conferences. 

Francesca is Principal Cloud Advocate Manager at Microsoft, where she leads an international team (across USA, Canada, UK, and Russia) of cloud developer advocates and engineers, managing a large portfolio of customers in the research/academic/education sector and building intelligent automated solutions on the cloud. She also teaches Introduction to Artificial Intelligence with Python at Columbia University.
