Allison Bridges

Lecturer, Sustainability Management

Allison Bridges has 15 years of experience researching and designing strategic sustainability, decarbonization, and resilience plans and collective impact initiatives. As research faculty with Georgia Tech's Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business, she is a program manager for a statewide business consortium advancing science-based climate solutions. Prior to her current role, she was a fellow with the NYC Mayor's Office of Climate and Environmental Justice where she co-developed the Climate Knowledge Exchange initiative. Dr. Bridges holds a Ph.D. in urban planning and policy from Rutgers University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Columbia University's Earth Institute in the Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management. Before pursuing doctoral studies, Dr. Bridges worked for the World Bank in renewable energy infrastructure and for the World Health Organization in disaster relief. She also holds M.A.s from New York University and The New School, and a B.A. from the University of Georgia.
