Cody Smith
Lecturer, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
Cody is a co-founder of CNCM, a negotiation advisory and training services company. He has experience advising and lecturing on negotiation internationally, and his writings have been used to teach negotiation, strategy, and leadership principles to graduate students and executives at leading business, law, and policy schools. Cody has also served as a Negotiation Strategist with the eXperimental Negotiation Initiative, supporting high-level efforts to resolve some of the world's most urgent, intractable conflicts.
Outside CNCM, Cody is a Lecturer in Columbia University's Negotiation and Conflict Resolution MS program, and he previously held appointments as a researcher at Harvard Business School. Cody received graduate degrees from the University of Heidelberg and Columbia University (NECR '14) and his BA from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
