Nonprofit Management Student Heather Feshbach Featured in MSN for “Learning Pod”
Heather Feshbach, a student in the Nonprofit Management program, was featured in MSN for the learning pod she created with her nonprofit organization, Rising Stars Youth Foundation.
The pod was a response to the trend of wealthy families hiring private teachers to create small, in-person educational “bubbles” for their children when the schools were shut nationwide. The goal of the foundation's pod was to level the field for families that do not have access to similar opportunities.
Heather Feshbach, Rising Stars Youth Foundation's associate director of education, oversees the pod with a diverse student population who come from different schools and families, and face unique financial situations.
