Effective immediately, access to the Morningside campus has been limited to students residing in residential buildings on campus (Carman, Furnald, John Jay, Hartley, Wallach, East Campus and Wien) and employees who provide essential services to campus buildings, labs and residential student life (for example, Dining, Public Safety, and building maintenance staff). Nonprofit Management Alumna Deanna Bossellman Awarded a 2020 Fashion Impact Award

Deanna Bossellman, ’16SPS, Nonprofit Management, was awarded a 2020 Fashion Impact Award by the Fashion Institute Midwest (FIM) for her Impact in Philanthropy. FIM is a nonprofit organization that supports the growth of regional fashion designers by providing talented individuals access to creative inspiration, technical training, resources and business education.

With the ongoing global health crisis, FIM chose Bossellman as the recipient of the award this year thanks to her lifelong dedication to charity. She is the founder of Fundrayzr LLC, a consultancy that helps nonprofits reach their philanthropic goals, and has planned and managed the Cattlemen’s Ball, Nebraska’s largest traveling fundraiser. Over the years, she has served as a board member for over 20 nonprofits. Today, she serves on the board of Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts and is a founding board member of the Fashion Institute Guild. She is also a legacy board member for the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA).
