Brian Miller

Speaker; Executive Director, Nonprofit VOTE

Brian Miller has served as Executive Director of Nonprofit VOTE since 2014, working successfully to raise the visibility of Nonprofit VOTE's work on the national stage and bring the voter engagement strategies of Nonprofit VOTE to scale, leveraging new resources, documenting the impact of its work, and forging new partnerships. During his tenure, Nonprofit VOTE assumed management of National Voter Registration Day which set a new record in 2020 with nearly 1.5 million voters being registered as part of the holiday.

Prior to his tenure at Nonprofit VOTE, Brian worked for over 20 years in the nonprofit space, including a combined 17 years running both national and state nonprofits working on economic inequality and tax policy. He also co-authored the The Self Made Myth book, with a forward by Bill Gates, Sr. A south Louisiana native of Cajun roots, Brian started his career as a community organizer in Louisiana before moving on to organize in Kentucky and Tennessee. He now lives outside Boston.
