Sandra Swirski co-founded Urban Swirski & Associates, a women-owned government relations firm, in 2010.
Known for her political savvy, coalition-building expertise and substantive policy chops, Sandra translates Washington for tax-exempts and tax-exempts for Washington based on more than 15 years of experience representing the sector. Her work is highlighted in major media outlets and she is a sought-after thought leader and speaker in the industry. Her expertise comes from years on Capitol Hill working for senior Senators on the tax-writing committee and leading government relations teams for companies and clients in the private sector. She got her start in Washington as a lawyer focused on multinationals tax and business issues.
Swirski also works with several large membership organizations, that represent charitable organizations, to reimagine, build capacity and scale their public policy and advocacy infrastructures.

Born and raised (at least for a little while) in San Juan, Puerto Rico where her extended family still resides.
