*Denotes elective course. Students are required to complete 4 elective courses (12 points/credits) in addition to required core courses. Students have the flexibility to choose from over 45 pre-approved electives from across Columbia University. In addition to 6 elective courses designed and taught by IKNS faculty, these pre-approved electives include courses from the Columbia Business School, the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS), the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS), the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), the Mailman School of Public Health, and the School of Professional Studies (SPS).
