Jill Larsen

Jill Larsen, PHR, has more than 25 years of experience establishing and digitally transforming human resources functions at global technology and life sciences companies. Jill was recently appointed as Chief People Officer at PTC, an 6K employee public technology company located in Boston.  In her role, Jill oversees global human resources leading a team of 100. Prior to PTC, Jill was Chief People Officer at Medidata (MDSO), a public life sciences software company located in NYC. At Medidata, Jill led HR and Workplace Resources and designed a robust People Strategy. During Jill’s tenure, the company landed at #25 on Fortune’s Great Place to Work list and won numerous awards for their talent, diversity and CSR programs.

Prior to Medidata, Jill spent five years in a blended SVP role at Cisco Systems, as both a global HRBP and leader of Talent Acquisition.  Jill drove a complete digital transformation of Cisco’s TA function, with a focus on experience, brand, analytics, and next generation AI & HR tech tools. Her efforts resulted in Cisco winning over 45 awards for social media and brand engagement during her tenure.  Additionally, Jill led HR for Cisco’s Services organization, supporting 14,000 employees and $13B in revenues. Earlier in her career, Jill spent five years at EMC as the CHRO of RSA Security / Head of HR Operations and spent seven years in HR leadership roles at SunGard.

Jill is a two time finalist for HRO Today’s TA Leader of the Year Award, a winner of the YWCA Women’s Leadership Award, and a winner of the Bob Gatti HR Leader of Distinction Award. She is an active public speaker focused on HR digitization and the future of work and she serves as a Board Member & Advisor to privately funded technology startups.
