Guido Bendinelli is a risk professional with over 13 years of experience across different continents in assessing the control environment for small to large financial institutions and recommending improvement opportunities.

Guido is currently Internal Audit Director at American Express with responsibilities over a variety of areas, including operational risk and privacy risk. During his 9 years of tenure at American Express, Guido has led teams across different portfolios in both the London and New York offices, with a focus on risk management, regulatory compliance, operations, and governance.

Prior to joining American Express, Guido provided consulting services to banks, insurers, and asset managers on risk management and process improvement at EY, based in the Milan (Italy) office.

Guido holds Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designations.
