ALP Spring 2020 Orientation

Check-in and Orientation are required for all new Intensive students.

The entire day will take place in the Pulitzer/Journalism building on the Columbia campus. See this map with the Pulitzer/Journalism building circled, on the Broadway side of campus.

9:30 a.m.–10:00 a.m., Check-in, in the lobby of Pulitzer/Journalism building

10:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m., Welcome, Introductions and part one of New Student Orientation

10:30 a.m.–11:45 a.m., New Student Writing Test

11:45 a.m..–12:00 p.m.: Student break while Lunch is set up

12:00 p.m..–1:00 p.m.: Lunch, provided by ALP

1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m., Part two of New Student Orientation

After 5:00 p.m.: Your class schedule will be EMAILED to your Columbia email address. Please check your email after this time! To check your Columbia email click here and then click on Lionmail.
