Spring 2017 Capstone Presentations (Day 2)

Please join us for a 2-day showcase of graduate student research in the field of conflict resolution!

The Capstone Thesis is the culminating project for the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Master’s Program at Columbia University's School of Professional Studies. This year's graduating class will present their work in a range of topics, exploring conflict from interpersonal, organizational and global perspectives.

On Sunday, session themes will include:

  • Session 1: Third-Party Intervention: Mediation and Ombuds (9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.)
  • Session 2: Gender (10:30 a.m. – 11:10 a.m.)
  • Session 3: Transitioning from Violence (11:10 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.)
  • Session 4: Organizations and Industries (1:10 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.)

A reception will follow the presentations on Sunday.
