STEM Family Day Features Hands-On Science Experiments and Workshops
On June 11, the Columbia Alumni Association organized a STEM Family Day, complete with hands-on science experiments, workshops taught by Columbia faculty, and a guest talk from Astronaut and Columbia Engineering Professor of Professional Practice Mike Massimino (ENG ’84).
The Master of Science in Sports Management program hosted an interactive booth called “Sports Analytics: Building an Athlete’s Digital Brand.” The booth featured faculty and students from the program and demonstrated how social media analytics can inform brand strategy for professional athletes and teams.
