Morningside Campus/Limited Access

Effective immediately, access to the Morningside campus has been limited to students residing in residential buildings on campus (Carman, Furnald, John Jay, Hartley, Wallach, East Campus and Wien) and employees who provide essential services to campus buildings, labs and residential student life (for example, Dining, Public Safety, and building maintenance staff). James H. Ward, III

Lecturer, Construction Administration; Senior Innovation Manager, JRM Construction Management

James Ward is the Innovation Leader at JRM Construction, linking construction management systems to collaborative, 3D first workflows. A graduate of the Pratt Institute School of Architecture, his past roles include Visiting Lecturer at NYU and Pratt Institute, Leader of the BIM Logistics and Visualization Team at Tishman Construction, and Project Architect at the Rockwell Group. He is a specialist in Construction logistics. His work at Tishman primarily is on commercial high-rise developments in NYC but has extended to nuclear power plants in the US and Japan, Institutions in Washington D.C. and Highrise developments in the UK.

Key Projects:  World Trade Center Transit Hub, Manhattan West, Hudson Yards and 1 Vanderbilt, and 270 Park.

James serves on the boards of Zoning Board, Orange Township, NJ; Valley Arts, Seven Oaks Society, and Symbiont, inc.

Research and Teaching Interests: James’ interest includes all things technology, from Drones, Augmented Reality, Smart Home Devices. As of late his research includes restorative infrastructure, 4D simulations and a Fintech Startup.
