Effective immediately, access to the Morningside campus has been limited to students residing in residential buildings on campus (Carman, Furnald, John Jay, Hartley, Wallach, East Campus and Wien) and employees who provide essential services to campus buildings, labs and residential student life (for example, Dining, Public Safety, and building maintenance staff). ALP Fall 2019 Orientation

Check-in and Orientation are required for all new Intensive students.
On the first day, everything but Lunch will take place at: Davis Auditorium, room 412, Schapiro Center

9:30 a.m.–10:00 a.m., Check-in
Students will be given their ID Card at check-in. Please do not go to the ID Center for your ID Card. All ID Cards are with ALP 

10:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m., Welcome, Introductions and part one of New Student Orientation

10:30 a.m.–11:45 a.m., New Student Writing Test

11:45 a.m.–12:50 p.m., Lunch, provided by ALP (ALP will tell you the location after part one of Orientation)

1:00 p.m.–4:15 p.m., Part two of New Student Orientation

After 5:00 p.m.: Your class schedule will be EMAILED to your Columbia email address. Please check your email after this time! To check your Columbia email click here and then click on Lionmail.
