Talks@Columbia Entrepreneur/Intrapreneur Series Now on YouTube

The third season of Talks@Columbia, the thought leadership series featuring top faculty from Columbia University, scholar-practitioners from Columbia’s School of Professional Studies, and industry leaders, is now available to watch on YouTube.

The speakers of Season 3 address the theme of Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship: Driving Change in the Organization. “We chose this topic because no matter what kind of organization you find yourself in – or find yourself leading – the ability to drive change is going to be a key success factor to realize results,” says Dr. Jason Wingard, Dean, School of Professional Studies.

Each of the three speakers of Talks@Columbia Season 3 focuses on a facet of this theme. Dr. Ashifi Gogo, Founder and CEO of Sproxil, an organization that uses technology to combat the distribution of counterfeit medicine worldwide, reveals how entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs get projects started. Dr. W. Warner Burke, Edward Lee Thorndike Professor of Psychology and Education at Teachers College-Columbia University, speaks about the vital skill of learning agility and how motivation drives change. Rocco Commiso, Chairman and CEO of Mediacom Communications Corporation, the fifth-largest cable TV provider in the country, addresses how to measure entrepreneurial success.
