Dean Wingard Joins the Tides Board of Directors

Dr. Jason Wingard, alongside President and CEO of the Dallas Women's Foundation Roslyn Dawson Thompson, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Tides, an internationally recognized leader in advancing social justice initiatives by bringing together unlikely partners to identify new solutions.

“We are thrilled to add diverse perspectives and talents to the Tides board,” said Tides Chair Tuti B. Scott. “Jason brings an understanding of new philanthropic mindsets, new networks, and new ways of thinking to the board. They will be strong ambassadors for Tides at a time when the organization is more committed than ever to working across boundaries and funding projects that can scale.”

“With a new vision and direction, and a strong and diverse board, Tides is at a pivotal moment where we have the opportunity to grow our impact and build a future in shared prosperity and social justice,” said Tides CEO Kriss Deiglmeier.

The appointment of Dawson Thompson and Wingard brings the total number of Tides board directors to 15. Dawson Thompson and Dean Wingard joined the board officially on January 1, 2018.
