ALP Faculty Speak in France
Full-time lecturer Alan Kennedy, and adjunct associate Tristan Thorne (also of Baruch College), delivered a presentation at the ‘EPIP5: English Pronunciation Issues and Practices’ conference in Caen, France on May 17. The title of their talk was “Enhancing fluency in the ESL classroom – variations on the fluency circle” and they demonstrated the effectiveness of using timed task repetition to increase students’ spoken fluency in English.
