Construction Administration Alumnus Promoted at The Vilcek Foundation

Ronnie Mewengkang, a 2015 graduate of the Master's of Science program in Construction Administration, was recently promoted to the position of Chief of Facilities and Security at The Vilcek Foundation.

He has done exemplary work as a Facility Manager; in the case of the Vilcek Foundation's new headquarters at 21 East 70th Street, he managed over 50 construction and building professionals during the renovation of the historic landmarked building, slated to be their new home later in 2017.

In his new position he will oversee the Vilcek Foundation's facilities, play a role in designing and implementing its security system, and will maintain the organization's current headquarters.

In an email, Mewengkang credits some of the exemplary "mentoring I received from the professors and professionals I met as I completed my degree," as playing a role in his advancement.

He is a certified Facility Management Professional through the International Facility Management Association, and he has completed the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and F-04 Temporary Place of Assembly Safety certificates.
