Kaiser Fung: Debunking Power Posing
Kaiser Fung, the Associate Program Director of the M.S. in Applied Analytics, and Andrew Gelman, Director of the Applied Statistics Center found that studies such as Amy Cuddy’s study on the effectiveness of power posing fail to replicate scientific findings.
"The weakest work with the boldest claims often attracts the most publicity, helped by promotion from newspapers, television, websites, and best-selling books. And members of the educated public typically only get one side of the story."
