Robin H. Rosenbluth

Principal Consultant, Advancing Fundraising: Career Coaching and Consulting Services

Robin H. Rosenbluth is the Principal Consultant at Advancing Fundraising: Coaching and Consulting. As a coach, she works with individual fundraisers, executive leaders/boards and career changers.  As a consultant, she produces development audits and fundraising plans, builds major gift shops, offers training on board engagement, and provides support for corporate and foundation relations, donor cultivation and stewardship. She has managed feasibility studies for capital, reserve, and endowment campaigns.  She has worked with non-profits in the US and abroad.  She was a part-time lecturer in the Columbia University's M.S. in Nonprofit Management Program. She has been and is a frequent speaker at national and international fundraising conferences.

Before launching her own consulting firm, she served as the Deputy Director of Philanthropy at The Nature Conservancy in New York, where she raised principal gifts in the New York metro market. She previously served as Assistant Vice President for Development at the Columbia University Medical Center, where she oversaw fundraising for medical research during Columbia’s $4 billion capital campaign.  She also worked as the Assistant Vice President for Continuum Health Partners, where she managed institutional giving for four New York hospitals. She was the Development Director of the Ms. Foundation for Women and has held other positions at the Brooklyn Museum, the Jewish Museum and other environmental and women’s organizations.

Robin has traveled widely and has helped train international organizational leaders – boards and senior staff – in applying aspects of the US fundraising model.  She loves working in the non-profit sector and sees fundraising as a way to make the world a better place.
