Nita Gupta

Nita Gupta was most recently a healthcare technology consultant at The Chartis Group where she was dedicated to making processes more efficient and streamlining operations through the use of strategic and innovative information technology (IT) solutions. Gupta has worked with several US-based and international healthcare organizations in a variety of IT initiatives. Currently, Gupta is working on developing a community of practice (CoP) for knowledge management within the firm to increase knowledge sharing and to allow associates to effectively access knowledge. Gupta is also a certified project management professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.

Before joining The Chartis Group, Gupta spent two years abroad setting up and working in the first paperless hospital in all of Southern Africa, which opened in January 2010. Gupta played a critical role in IT, acting as the liaison between the biomedical engineering department and the technical, application, and IT training teams.

Gupta is currently working on a collaboration with colleague Shelley Allan in applying knowledge management and knowledge strategy lenses to North American healthcare.
