Arthur Kuflik, PhD
Lecturer, Bioethics
Arthur Kuflik specializes in bioethics and political philosophy. Since 2010, he has been a core faculty member in the Master of Science in Bioethics program at Columbia University. In 2016, Kuflik was the Faculty recipient of the Dean’s Excellence Award. Earlier he served as the DeCamp Fellow in Ethics and Life Sciences at Princeton University’s Center for Human Values and as a visiting Research Associate at the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics at the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Covering a wide range of both theoretical and applied subjects, Kuflik’s publications have appeared in a number of philosophical journals, including Ethics, Philosophy & Public Affairs, Philosophical Studies, Journal of Medical Ethics, Hume Studies, the Journal of Applied Philosophy, NOMOS, Australasian Journal of Philosophy. and the Encyclopedia of Philosophy (Routledge).
