Eshiobomhe Sigmus Aimofumhe is an HBCU Fellow at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, where he is pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Analytics. He graduated as Valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA from Fisk University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics.
Sigmus has developed a strong track record in machine learning, bioinformatics, and data analytics through professional appointments with the Yale School of Medicine, Merck & Co., CZ Biohub, the American Heart Association, and the Nashville Mayor’s Office. At Columbia, he aims to merge rigorous statistical modeling with scalable engineering to design high-impact predictive systems and drive intelligent decision-making across industry.
