Yeiny Moreno Cabral
Assistant Director, Student Life Operations
Yeiny holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Smith College. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, she developed a passion for supporting children and young people through their educational and personal development. Prior to joining Columbia University, she worked in youth and family services as a preventive case manager and ABA therapy assistant teacher.
At Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, Yeiny previously served as Coordinator of Student Affairs for High School and Non-Degree Programs, supporting student services and programming for pre-college and non-degree students. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Social-Organizational Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, with a focus on organizational culture, leadership, and data-driven operations.
Outside of work, Yeiny enjoys traveling, trying new foods, spending time in nature, and making memories with loved ones.
