Julia Valuyeva, Ph.D.

Julia Valuyeva is a financial technology and electronic trading leader with over 20 years of experience spanning quantitative research, data strategy, and product leadership in global equities. She is a Director in Capital Markets at TD Securities, where she focuses on advancing electronic trading capabilities, best execution measurement and governance, and build-out of new front-office equities data platform.

Previously, Ms. Valuyeva served as an Executive Director at UBS, leading global initiatives across algorithmic trading, and machine-learning-driven execution automation, with a focus on measurable improvements in quality, analytics, operational risk, and scalable governance. Earlier in her career, she held quantitative research and product development roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, and JP Morgan.

Ms. Valuyeva  holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, and is FINRA Series 24 licensed.
