Artificial Intelligence (AI) is accelerating innovation, but its rapid growth also raises broader questions about its environmental impact, from energy and resource consumption to the infrastructure needed to support AI at scale. This panel brings together industry leaders and policy experts to explore the growing intersection between AI policy and environmental policy. The discussion will examine whether today's environmental expectations for AI are realistic, what agendas policymakers and environmental organizations are advancing, how AI companies are responding, and how these efforts connect to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Panelists will explore where industry and policy align, where they conflict and what barriers must be addressed to ensure AI innovation and sustainability can move forward together.
