Elizabeth Benn

Customer Value and Strategy Lead, LBi Software

Elizabeth Benn began her full-time career in baseball in 2017 with Major League Baseball's Commissioner's Office, where she worked in baseball operations, labor relations, and player and staff development. In 2022, she joined the New York Mets as Director of Major League Operations. Since leaving the organization after the 2024 season, she has broadened her experience across the baseball and sports industries. She currently works at LBi Software, developing organizational operations and growth strategy as it expands further into collegiate and professional sports, and consults with numerous organizations on topics including baseball economics, salary arbitration negotiations, player evaluation, and data-driven player development. She serves as an on-air baseball analyst for SNY and TSN and teaches philosophy at Lehman College.

She attended the University of Toronto, where she played softball and earned her bachelor's degree in Philosophy, and later received her master's degree in Philosophy from Columbia University. She has played baseball her whole life and continues to pitch in the NYC Metro Baseball League.
