Chloe Evina

Student-Veteran Officer

Chloe is pursuing a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies and is honored to serve as a Community Representation Officer for the SPS Student Government (SPSSG), representing the student-veteran community as Student-Veteran Officer. As a U.S. Army veteran with overseas deployment experience, she brings both lived and professional perspectives to her role. Her commitment to the veteran community has continued beyond her military service through volunteer work with the American Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces and her experience as a case manager with Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), where she worked directly with veterans and their families navigating housing, employment, benefits, and other resources.

Chloe is passionate about ensuring that student-veterans at SPS feel represented, connected, and supported throughout their Columbia experience. Having experienced military service firsthand and later supported veterans navigating life after service, she understands that every veteran’s journey is different. During her term, she hopes to strengthen the student-veteran community at SPS, increase awareness of available resources, expand professional development and mentorship opportunities, and create meaningful ways for veterans to connect and continue serving others.

In her role, Chloe aims to serve as a bridge between SPS student-veterans, SPSSG, Columbia resources, and the broader veteran community in New York City. She looks forward to developing partnerships, veteran-focused programming, community service opportunities, and spaces where student-veterans can connect, share their experiences, and support one another.
