Michael Keany
Lecturer, M.S. Technology Management
Michael Keany is a venture and business builder with more than 25 years of experience
launching and scaling products, services, businesses and operating models, alongside
applied teaching and founder mentorship. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of
Bryant Park Studio, a senior-led business design firm that helps organizations drive new
growth through sharper strategy, hands-on execution, and durable operating clarity.
Michael most recently served as Professor of Creative Business Leadership at the
Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he developed and taught graduate
courses in entrepreneurship, innovation, financial management, and leadership. He also
serves as Faculty Advisor and Principal Innovation Mentor with the Fashion Institute of
Technology’s DTech Lab and PETE Prize.
His management consulting experience spans McKinsey & Company (Co-Founder and
General Manager, McKinsey Academy), Oliver Wyman (Partner and Co-Founder, Oliver
Wyman Studio), and Booz Allen Hamilton (Associate). He has also held senior
operating roles including CEO of Code and Theory, Chief Transformation Officer at
West Monroe, Chief Strategy Officer and UK Managing Director at Method, and Chief
Commercial Officer at Havas Americas.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at technology leaders Cognizant and Seer
Technologies and was an early employee in two venture-backed Silicon Valley firms.
Michael holds an M.S. in Technology Management from Columbia University and a B.S.
(Hons.) in Environmental Studies from the University of Sunderland.
