David Burkus
Part-Time Lecturer
David Burkus is an organizational psychologist, author, and keynote speaker whose work focuses on leadership, teamwork, and collaboration. His work bridges academic research and applied practice, drawing on peer-reviewed findings in organizational psychology to address how leaders build trust, foster collaboration, and develop teams that consistently perform at their best. He is the bestselling author of five books including Best Team Ever, Under New Management, and Friend of a Friend. His research and writing have been featured in the Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, CNN, the BBC, NPR, and CBS Mornings. Since 2017, David has been recognized multiple times among the world’s top business thought leaders by Thinkers50.
As a consultant and speaker, he has since worked extensively with senior leaders across all sectors and industries, including engagements with PepsiCo, Fidelity, Adobe, and NASA, translating behavioral science research into practical frameworks for high-performing teams and organizations.
David holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership (DSL) and an M.A. in Organizational Dynamics.
