Dela Meskienyar

Producer, The Verbatim Salon

Dela Meskienyar is a producer, performer, and performance  educator based in New York City. She is a co-producer and co curator of The Verbatim Salon, a monthly documentary-theatre  series in which actors perform anonymized interviews with  people who have interacted with the U.S. immigration system  using the in-ear verbatim audio technique. The series presents  real stories recorded in one-on-one interviews, preserving  anonymity and enabling participation from individuals who may  not be able or willing to share their stories. She holds an MFA in  Acting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and dual BA degrees  from the University of California, Berkeley. Her work spans  theater, television, and film. She teaches acting and coaches  actors, founders, and executives in storytelling, presence, and  communication.
