Jalen Gourrier

Jalen Gourrier is a 2025 HBCU Fellow at Columbia University, where he is pursuing a Master’s in Strategic Communication. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. With experience across finance, business, and sports, Jalen is passionate about using strategic communication to create opportunity and drive equitable growth. He is committed to enhancing opportunities for marginalized communities through sports and education. Jalen plans to pursue a joint JD/MBA program to continue bridging the worlds of business, law, and social impact while giving back to and uplifting the communities that shaped him.
