Eric Goetz
Capital Markets & Credit Team Lead, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency
Eric Goetz is a career-long public servant and has worked for all three of the Federal bank regulators. He is currently a Capital Markets & Credit Team Lead in the Large and Global Financial Institution division at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. He previously worked as a Supervising Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and provided horizontal coverage of six large foreign banks with U.S. operations exceeding $100 billion in assets. Before joining the NY Fed, Eric worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as a senior internal auditor and started his career as a bank examiner at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Eric’s primary expertise includes wholesale credit risk, capital markets, and country risk. He has extensive experience instructing courses at the NY Fed.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from Amberton University and a Bachelor in Finance from Arkansas State University. He is a commissioned large financial institutions bank examiner and earned a public leadership credential from the Kennedy School at Harvard University.
