Julia M. Vigay

Born and raised in Manhattan, Julia Vigay is a dedicated champion who is passionate about building relationships and uplifting her community. She graduated Cum Laude from CUNY Baruch College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and completed a minor in Communication Studies. During her time at Baruch, Julia was actively engaged in student life and served as President of the Dominican Student Association. After graduating in 2023, she began her career in fintech, working at Bloomberg as a Global Support Representative and then as an Operations Specialist within their Customer Support department.

As a full-time student in the Strategic Communication program at Columbia SPS, Julia hopes to strengthen her foundational understanding of communication and gain hands-on experience that will allow her to pivot into roles within marketing, corporate communications, or public relations. She looks forward to getting involved in different opportunities at Columbia SPS and inspiring the CUNY community to become future fellows.
