Halla Al-Moradi

Hello! My name is Halla Al-Moradi, and I am pursuing a Master of Science in Political Analytics at Columbia University. I am passionate about using data to inform policy decisions and bridge the gap between research and public service. With a background in political science and advocacy, I am committed to creating spaces where students can connect their academic knowledge to real-world impact.

As the Political Analytics Representative in the SPS Student Government, I aim to strengthen the bridge between data and policy within our program. My focus this year is on expanding professional development opportunities by organizing workshops and sessions that help students navigate internship applications, improve technical skills, and connect with industry experts. I want to ensure that every student who wishes to pursue an internship has access to the guidance, tools, and resources needed to do so. Through these efforts, I hope to build a more supportive and well-connected Political Analytics community at Columbia that empowers students to apply their skills in real-world policy work.
