Sa'mya Wilson

Nonprofit Management Program Representative

Greetings! I am Sa’mya Wilson, a graduate student pursuing my M.S. in Nonprofit Management at Columbia University. I am honored to serve as the elected Nonprofit Management Program Representative.

In this role, I aim to advocate for student interests, foster a strong sense of community for those in the cohort, and support a learning environment where everyone feels celebrated and supported. Within SPSSG I serve on the Social Committee developing community building projects, events, and interschool relations for students in SPS. I look forward to working alongside creative and passionate leaders this semester as we develop initiatives aimed to positively enhance our peers' experience while at Columbia.

Originally from East Oakland, California, I’ve found my way back to the East Coast after earning my B.A. in Africana Studies and English Language & Literature, as well as a Concentration in Community Engagement & Social Change from Smith College.
