Masahiro Takino

Masa (Masahiro Takino) is honored to serve as Treasurer & CDL Committee Chair of Columbia SPS Student Government (SPSSG).

He wishes to give back to the Columbia SPS community through three strengths:

1. Financial Expertise & Maximizing Students’ Career ROI (M&A×CPA×AI):

Combining his experience as a CPA and M&A financial advisor with his MS studies in Applied Analytics, Masa prioritizes fiscal transparency and advocates for resources to maximize students’ career ROI.

2. I-House & SPSSG Network:

As a Resident Leader Fellow at International House and SPSSG CDL Committee Chair, Masa loves connecting people. He aims to break down silos across SPS’s 18 programs and foster meaningful cross-school collaboration.

3. Empathy & Resilience:

Masa knows the student struggle. Due to visa delays, he landed at JFK just 6 hours before his first class on 9/2/2025. He understands international students’ challenges and is here to listen and help. The SPS community helped him. Now he wants to help others.
