Annabelle Swenson

Hello! My name is Annabelle Swenson, and I am pursuing a Master of Science in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies. I am passionate about exploring the intersections between medicine and the humanities, and how stories can shape empathy, communication, and care.

As the Narrative Medicine Program Representative in the SPS Student Government, my goal is to expand opportunities for students to explore the many professional applications of Narrative Medicine. This year, I aim to strengthen collaboration between full and part-time students, foster connections across SPS programs, and build an engaged community that values reflection, creativity, and interdisciplinary learning.
