Poorva Desai

Hello everyone, 

My name is Poorva Desai, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Applied Analytics at the School of Professional Studies. I am grateful to be serving on the Fall 2025 SPSSG Executive Board as Secretary and Chair of the Social Committee.

I come from a data analyst background with experience in the insurance and consumer packaged goods industries, where I developed a strong foundation in data visualization, reporting, and business strategy. My work has allowed me to translate complex datasets into actionable insights to drive efficiency and decision-making for organizations. 

This semester, my goals are to foster stronger connections among students, create engaging and inclusive events, and enhance communication within our SPS community. I also hope to collaborate with my peers and faculty to make the student experience more engaging and connected.
