Jill Kelley

Jill Kelley is a Partner at Hogan Lovells, where she advises clients across the sports, gaming, and entertainment industries on complex commercial, M&A, and regulatory matters. Her sports practice spans sponsorships, naming rights, franchise investments, team operations, stadium development, and media partnerships. She also advises operators, tribal nations, investors, and leagues on sports betting and iGaming matters, including licensing, regulatory compliance, and tribal and commercial gaming frameworks. In addition, Kelley is active in the rapidly expanding women’s sports sector, representing ownership groups, investors, and emerging leagues on franchise matters, governance, and capital strategy during a pivotal period of industry growth.

Kelley previously served as General Counsel and Vice President of Legal Affairs for the New York Jets, overseeing all legal, compliance, and league matters and leading negotiations on high-value sponsorship, media, technology, and stadium development agreements. She played central roles in the creation of the Jets Women’s Organization, contributed to social justice and DEI initiatives through the club’s Social Justice, Diversity and Inclusion Team.

Before joining the Jets, Kelley served as General Counsel of PointsBet USA, leading U.S. sportsbook operations and advising on regulatory strategy, league partnerships, and commercial development. She also served as Senior Legal Counsel for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation and its Foxwoods Resort Casino, advising on major commercial transactions, economic development projects, and federal, state, and tribal regulatory matters.

Kelley began her legal career in international corporate and tax law at Withers LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, spending more than a decade advising multinational businesses, family offices, investment funds, and private foundations on cross-border tax strategy and commercial structuring.

She has been recognized as one of NJBIZ’s Leaders in Law and serves on the Women United Leadership Council for the United Way of Northern New Jersey.
