Andrew Macaulay

Andrew Macaulay leads the development and execution of TRMW Sports’ technology strategy
as the company strives to build modern approaches to sports, media, and entertainment. This
role includes overseeing the technology inside SoFi Center, including fan experience and venue
operations. SoFi Center is a custom-built venue for TGL presented by SoFi, a primetime, team
golf league featuring six teams of PGA TOUR stars competing on the most technologically
advanced field in all of sports.
Before joining TMRW Sports, Andrew served as CTO for Topgolf Entertainment Group, where
he led the development of all their innovative ways to experience and modernize the game of
golf – in-person, virtually, and digitally. As a self-proclaimed golf lover, he led the transformation
of how new audiences were introduced to golf through Topgolf and Toptracer technology.
Prior to Topgolf, Andrew spent 20 years in executive roles across pioneering
telecommunications companies. He was the CIO at Clearwire Communications, building the first
4G US wireless network; and SVP at Level 3 Communications, building a revolutionary fiber
network across the continental U.S.
Andrew earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Operations Research
from the University of Leeds in England, and an MBA from Baylor University in Texas. Originally
from the U.K., he has loved living in the U.S. for more than 30 years.
