Siqi(Shirley) Liu

Siqi(Shirley) Liu | She/Her/Hers | is entering her third semester at SPS under the Applied Analytics program. Shirley specializes in SQL statements, basic coding syntax, and Machine Learning using R, as well as statistical methods including descriptive, inferential, and multivariate analysis. Students come to her for support when learning statistical concepts, programming fundamentals, or when trying to apply theory to real-world problems. With an Accounting undergraduate background, she can also provide foundational support in business-related topics.

Through the SPS Tutor program, Shirley looks forward to helping students build confidence in technical subjects like R, SQL, and statistics. She enjoys creating a supportive, approachable learning environment where everyone feels comfortable asking any questions. Shirley is also excited to grow as a tutor by learning through the conversations she has with students.

Fun Fact: Shirley earned a Level 6 ballet certificate when I was 11 years old.
