Nitesh Goyal, Ph.D.

Tesh (Nitesh) Goyal, Ph.D., is a leading expert in Artificial Intelligence and Human-Computer Interaction whose research focuses on building Responsible AI solutions for social good. Based in New York, Dr. Goyal is a Research Leader at Google DeepMind, advancing methodologies for AI safety, generative AI, and human-agent alignment—efforts that have contributed to widely used tools such as Google’s SynthID, AI Studio, MakerSuite, and Harassment Manager.
