Anyi Wang

Anyi Wang is an Associate Research Scholar at the Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management at Columbia Climate School. His research interests include issues on sustainability education, sustainability metrics, contingent valuation method and public willingness to pay, pro-environmental behaviors, and technical and vocational education. Dr. Wang is the project leader on the Research Program’s work on developing a series of sustainability curriculum for high school students. He has also been extensively involved in the development and update of the China Sustainable Development Indicator System, a metrics framework designed to measure urban sustainability performance. Dr. Wang graduated from the Ph.D. in Economics and Education program at Teachers College. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Accounting from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China, and a Master of Public Administration (Environmental Science and Policy) degree from the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University.
