Catherine Yang is a student in the M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (NECR) program at Columbia University, with anticipated graduation in May 2025.
When her mother joined a multi-level marketing (MLM) company, Catherine witnessed firsthand the profound impact it had on their family. This experience opened her eyes to the far-reaching effects of multi-level marketing companies and inspired her capstone research.
Through both personal experience and academic inquiry, Catherine has become deeply committed to advocating for greater transparency and ethical regulations in business practices. This passion has motivated her to pursue a legal career focused on consumer protection and ethical regulations in business practices.
