Ding Dai
Head of Model Risk Management, Chubb
Ding Dai is an experienced risk management and actuarial professional with over 15 years of progressive experience in the insurance industry. He currently serves as the Head of Model Risk Management at Chubb, where he leads the firm’s enterprise-wide model governance and validation activities.
Before joining Chubb, Ding was the Chief Risk Officer of the private insurance group Spar Re Holdings, where he oversaw the group’s ERM framework and risk decisions across underwriting, investments, and capital. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade at AIG, progressing to Senior Director roles focused on investment portfolio management, capital management, and financial modelling.
Ding is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA), a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA), and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
